Product Details

These magnificent silver coins celebrate the year 2024 as the Year of the Dragon and are the fifth release in Perth's Lunar Series III. This coin also features vivid colorization to enhance the design.

Coin Highlights:

  • Contains 1 oz of .9999 fine silver.
  • A mintage of no more than 200,000 coins will be produced.
  • Comes in a protective plastic capsule.
  • Obverse: Portrays the Jody Clark likeness of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by her years of reign: 1952-2022, the date, face value, silver weight and purity.
  • Reverse: Portrays a colorized design of a dragon with water cascading from its mouth. A flaming pearl, a symbol for good fortune, hangs in the field design amongst crashing waves along th coin's edge. Also included in the design is the Chinese character for "dragon" and the inscription "DRAGON 2024." For the year 2024 only, The Perth Mint is using a special "P125" mint mark in celebration of their 125th anniversary.
  • Sovereign coin backed by the Australian government.
