Background

Eddie Brock. Venom. First introduced as a cameo character in the Web of Spider-Man, issue #18 in 1986 and as a main character in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #300 in 1988, the anti-hero is inter-twined with an alien symbiote which both seeks revenge for the root cause of his failed journalism career and vigilante justice. Venom viciously torments Peter Parker, as his main adversary. Simultaneously, the anti-hero obscures the lines of morality, as he imposes his idea of justice upon those that he deems deserving of it.
