2026 1 oz Samoa Legendary Warrior Women: Joan of Arc .999 Silver High Relief Antiqued Coin
Celebrate one of history's most recognizable warrior heroines with the 2026 Samoa Legendary Warrior Women: Joan of Arc 1 oz Silver Antiqued Coin. Combining historical inspiration, an unusually large-format presentation, high-relief artistry and an exceptionally limited worldwide mintage, this release is designed for collectors looking well beyond traditional one-ounce bullion.
Struck from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this legal-tender Samoa issue carries a denomination of 1 Tala and features an impressive 64 × 89 mm format. Rather than relying on silver weight alone to create visual impact, the dramatically oversized surface gives the intricate artwork considerable room to develop.
Only 1,000 pieces are available worldwide, making Joan of Arc a significantly limited modern silver collectible.

Legendary Warrior Women Series
Joan of Arc represents the second release in the Legendary Warrior Women series, following the earlier Valkyrie issue. Notably, the Joan of Arc release reduces the reported mintage from 2,500 pieces for Valkyrie to only 1,000 pieces worldwide.
The series explores powerful female warrior figures through detailed precious-metal artwork, combining historical and legendary subjects with an antiqued aesthetic.
The transition to Joan of Arc also carries another distinction: unlike the preceding Valkyrie release, Joan of Arc is issued as a Samoan-denominated coin, carrying a face value of 1 Tala.
The Story of Joan of Arc
Born in France around 1412, Joan of Arc became one of the defining figures of the Hundred Years' War while still a teenager. After claiming to have received divine visions, Joan eventually gained access to the court of Charles VII and became associated with the French campaign to relieve Orléans.
Her role in the French cause transformed her into a powerful symbol of courage, conviction and faith. Joan was eventually captured, tried for heresy and executed in 1431. A later retrial overturned the original judgment, and centuries later she was canonized by the Catholic Church in 1920.
Her extraordinary story has made Joan of Arc an enduring historical, cultural and religious figure—and a fitting subject for the Legendary Warrior Women collection.
