The Royal Mint introduced the Royal Tudor Beasts Collection in 2022. Similar to the popular Queen's Beasts collection that concluded in 2021, the series borrows its imagery from British heraldry. The ten coins of the Tudor Beasts collection are based upon the statues that guard the Moat Bridge of Hampton Court Palace, which are emblematic of the legacy of King Henry VIII and his third wife, Jane Seymour. This fifth release of the series is dedicated to the Seymour Unicorn, a symbol of purity and fertility gifted to Jane by the King.

Inscribed "SEYMOUR UNICORN" and "2024," with "HAMPTON COURT PALACE ROYAL TUDOR BEASTS" located on the edge of the coin. The breathtaking heraldic image is an example of the work of acclaimed British illustrator David Lawrence.
